The app includes useful features such as self-mode and standard mode, on-screen guidance for eye placement with autocrop functionality, and the capability to skip gaze directions or retake any picture. Users can also adjust settings like turning the flash on or off, and choose between landscape and portrait modes. Furthermore, the app allows for documenting essential information such as name, ID number, date of birth, and picture date.
It is important to note that no data or photos are stored within the app, and users are reminded to safeguard any protected health information (PHI) they handle. For added security, users are advised to encrypt their phone and disable iCloud photo backup when saving images to their camera roll.
